Our Favorite Old School Sneakers

There is a major flashback happening in the fashion world world right now and we are loving it! Just when you thought that some popular 90’s fashion trends have transitioned into memories and throwback thursday posts- poof! They’re back and stronger than ever. Well, I’m only talking about certain types of sneakers. I think we speak for everyone when we say that scrunchies and butterfly clips can remain in the past.  You may have noticed that some of our favorite stars and fashion bloggers have been spotted wearing a variation of throwback sneakers like Vans, Adidas and Converse. We’re giving you the fashion low down on our favorite old school shoes to make your outfits instantly cooler!

Adidas – BFF’s  and fashion all-stars, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, have devoted their street style to rocking the Classic Adidas Superstar sneakers in the black and white iteration or the all-white version. Whether it’s a night out in the town or a simple street look, these girls are proving that sneakers are so much hotter than high-heels!

Vans – Who doesn’t love these California made sneakers?!  They’re so timeless and have been around long enough that your parents probably had a pair in their closet and yet they’re still cool! Whether it’s with a skirt, jeans or a dress, they perfect any street look!

Converse – The holy grail of all sneakers! Chances are everyone has had a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor’s in their life. These shoes have been around the block and back!  Seriously, they’re over a century old and still continue to be a fashion staple! Chuck Taylor’s are universal in the fashion world. We have seen our favorite fashion girls wear them with dresses, shorts, rompers, overalls and jeans. They are a fashion icon that complete any outfit!
